PROC REPORT by Example: Techniques for Building Professional Reports Using SAS

Contrary to some of the reviews, I found the book excellent, a better alternative to the handbook. Clearly, beautifully presented. Love it.

the author assumes that you have a thorough knowledge of macros and some other sas procedures, the examples in the book require in my opinion from intermediate to expert experience and knowledge about sas, this is definitely not a book for newbies. If you think this book is going to teach you proc report from the beginning, step by step method, you are going to be disappointed, this is a book for experienced sas users, and it will not help people who are trying to learn proc report from zero, it contains advanced techniques , which if you don't know you are going to be completely lost.

With just one sitting I gained new and fresh insights into Proc Report. Highly recommended. Easy to read, easy to follow examples.

Good book but I found the layout confusing. Needs organisational improvement - maybe have the total program listing in one place and numbered explanations after like most SAS Press books.
