Pentair42002-0025S 140F Automatic Gas Shutoff Switch Replacement Pool and Spa Heater Electrical Systems

This fit perfectly and the heater is working again. Just a heads up, my old part is bigger than this replacement part. However, the threaded male portion is the same size. When I compared the two parts side by side, I first thought I purchased the wrong size. The smaller profile of the new part makes it easier to screw in. Hope this helps

I have a pentair gas heater. I had error lights that I couldn't get a solid answer on what was wrong. Several service companies gave estimates in the $400+ range. I decide to take a chance and replace all the sensors after watching several videos. It literally is 10m of time--> Deep socket or adjustable wrench off then new one on re connect push on probe Error lights gone. That simple. It turns out PH level can affect these so now I have a couple extra as spares.

The supplier put pipe tape on the fitting, the spanner size, was a little bigger than original, but it works like a charm!

Easily fitted into pentair mastertemp 400hd, slightly smaller socket size on the bolt from original part, but thread is the same and worked perfectly solving the ags light error.

Sometimes dealing with pool suppliers is a long drawn out hassle with added expense. This one came with the tape on and ready for installation.
