Customer service was outstanding when I had questions about the product.
For safe and effective lens care, use Clear Care cleaning & disinfecting solution as follows: Fill the provided lens case with the solution, place your contact lenses in the case, and let them soak for at least six hours. After soaking, thoroughly rinse the lenses with saline solution before wearing. Replace the Clear Care solution every two weeks or sooner if directed by your eye care professional. Always follow the practitioner instructions on the package insert for complete usage instructions.

I'm not sure how long it takes because I usually leave it to work overnight. The next day, the solution is clear and 'flat' (no bubbles) just like a saline solution.
