I purchased the Pro Breeze Mini Air Purifier with True HEPA Filter after an ongoing, unresolved matter of air quality where I work. The issue is difficult for me to briefly describe, but I will try. It began around four years ago when I began noticing a chemical smell in our office that no one else could detect. The best way to describe it is as though it's a chemical glue that someone is applying somewhere nearby. My manager was empathetic and had facilities management do an air quality check. They found nothing, and since no one else could smell it, I knew their conclusion was that it was just me. In the meantime, I couldn't help but notice that lots of people would sneeze throughout the day. There are around 30 people in my work area. The smell was strong enough that it made me somewhat nauseous and it would linger in my lungs even after I got home, though it wasn't nearly as strong. I tried researching this matter and most web sites attribute this type of odor that no one else detects to Phantosmia, which is a term for phantom smells or an "olfactory hallucination." After a week or so, the odor would dissipate, then resurface a few months later. A year and a half ago, we moved to a completely different floor in the same building. On that floor, the company occasionally moves employees around for various reasons. I had been sitting in the same spot for at least 6 months when, once again, they moved me to a different spot some 50 feet away. It is important to note that during those 6 months, I never once detected the chemical odor; however, on the SAME DAY that they moved me, I smelled it while at my new desk. As before, no one else could detect it. Due to my complaining of nausea, they once again called facilities management to my area. The lady asked if anyone else could smell it, and since no one else could, she walked around, and said she likewise could not smell anything. My explanation that I had sat at my previous location for all that time without EVER detecting it meant nothing to her. She walked away and closed out the ticket. I knew it was more than coincidence that I just happened to detect the same chemical smell the same day I moved to my new location. I know there must be something in the air where I work. For example, I know you can't see or smell asbestos, but exposure to asbestos fibers can cause lung disease such as mesothelioma, which can take 30 years to develop. I settled on the Pro Breeze Mini Air Purifier and decided to give it a try. I've been using it for over three weeks now and so far it gets FIVE STARS. First and foremost, I have not noticed the chemical smell since the day I plugged it in. Second, I used to sneeze off an on throughout the day. Nothing major, but I would probably sneeze 3-4 times a day. I've noticed that I now very rarely sneeze. I think I sneezed one day last week. This is very efficient. Puts out a lot of air, has a washable filter and has pulled everything from cat hair to plaster dust out of the air around my computers. Wish the large sizes had been available.

I use this for my pet and it works for the smell and air quality of the litterbox room. Very small compared to most and easy to move.

I bought these smaller air purifiers for my cat's litter boxes. I have 2 boxes, one downstairs and one upstairs. These air purifiers are great for getting rid of the dust smell and dust "haze" that litter produces. Let's face it, litter produces dust UNLESS you can convince your cats to use that litter that looks like little brown worms or something! My cats turn their noses up to that stuff, so these small purifiers are AWESOME. They are very quiet, they have a night light that looks like a "blue light" from the 70's and supposed to go into sleep mode, BUT they're so darned quiet, that I haven't noticed that part of the product. Highly recommend!

I bought this in mid 2022 after my workplace refused to buy an air purifier for my small office, where I work in close contact with two other people. It's January of 2025 and something's going wrong with it - there's a problem with the connection and it keeps shutting off until I jiggle the cord and restart it. Then it shuts off again.The good part? It's small and doesn't take up too much space on my crowded desk. It's very quiet. One of my coworkers (who sits about five feet away from me) has been sick nonstop for the past two years. While I mask at work, I also credit this air purifier for keeping me healthy.
