Victorinox Fibrox Pro 12-Inch Slicing Knife with Straight Edge and Black Handle

Came sharp and ready to use. Though made for meat slicing it works well on bagels and bread.

Weight, sharpness, handle, ease of use all good. A good value compared to unknown brands. So far edge retention is good, but I will need to use the knife a lot more to be certain.

Received this knife in a timely manner for a Free shipment deal. The handle is a little soft, but has a good grip even when wet. This knife doesn't appears dangerous, but it is a very sharp knife. I have used it to slice meat and fillet'd large fish (lingcod, salmon & halibut) without problems. The sharpness is holding its edge, considering I haven't had to sharpen it yet. I give it a very light coat of oil after each use.

Nice knife but it does not maintain sharpness as long as Americas Test Kitchen TV show indicated

Purchased this knife back in October 2014, and wanted to make sure I used before I reviewed it. It came recommended by several friends and my son the chef was pleased with the price. While I don't think I'd use it on a turkey, I've used it several times on hams, brisket and other roasts. I must say I am very pleased with its performance. The blade stays sharp and it's easy to tune back to razor sharp. Love it.

This wicked sharp knife just glides through roasted meat. It has a comfortable handle and is a nice weight without being heavy to hold. It does not come with a protective sleeve or knife guard, so you will need to think about how you will store it. Loose in a drawer it could glide through a finger tip.

Saw this knife used on The Chef Show. Had to have it. Great knife! Very sharp.
