What an awesome book!
If you are looking to get a "WOW" out of your kids read this book! SUPERB! In fact I do not recommend reading it all in one sitting. Take a few days, read a couple pages each day to really grasp the awesomeness of the facts presented. We used this book as part of our Geography curriculum but it is great for 'kids' of all ages :)

wonderful book!
We borrowed this from the library but I liked it so much I ordered one for ourselves. It will be my next gift to all our friends with children. it's great for goal-oriented type A's like me who like to plan trips with a purpose - what better purpose than to see the top thing in a category!

Non-fiction book with interesting facts for students
As a 7th grade math teacher, I used this book to create integer questions using the representative positive and negative numbers. Students responded by solving differences and changes. A good non-fiction informational text for those wanting to incorporate for the CCSS.

Hottest, Coldest, Highest, Deepist.....Early Geography book.
I enjoyed the book myself. It had a lot of good information with Eric Carle type illustrations. Have not given it to my grandson yet but I'm sure he will enjoy it.

Just the right book for a ten year old who irritates all adults he encounters by asking questions. He will have a field day! Ideal for a young questioning mind. Thank you.

Informative
We loved the information in this book but did find the text quite small and it didn’t capture the interest of my children as much as I hoped.

Delightful
very sweet book looking at various locations around the world and comparing their size/temperature etc. The pictures are made with different types and layers of paper to create the desired effect. This book makes an appearance during craft times too to recreate the layering technique used. A must have in the home-ed/unschool home.
