Love my Lithium Battery!
I have heard some bad things about Lithium batteries for automotive applications. Friends told me not to buy a lithium battery of any kind for my Can-Am Spyder. It is not true that you need a special lithium charger or that a standard 12v automotive charging system will damage this lithium battery. What you want to avoid is a charger or tender that has a De-Sulfate cycle. This will damage your Lithium battery. As long as your charging system is between 13.8v and 14.7v. It will work just fine. Ideal for a lithium battery is 14.6v. If your charging system is less than this, you will not get to 100%. But lithium batteries are so much better than Lead Acid or AGM, you don't need a 100% charge. And a lithium battery will last longer if it is not continually charged to 100%. I am very happy with this battery. I'm sorry for those who are having issues. But it may not be the battery or the vehicle charging systems fault. All I can say after 9 months of using this battery is 'Awesome'! It weighs almost nothing. It is 13 lbs. lighter than the Yuasa AGM battery it replaced. The Can-Am Spyder is very voltage sensitive. If the battery isn't good. You will have issues with your Sypder. This MMG lithium battery cranks faster and holds a charge better than the other batteries I've had in my Spyder.I do not rate this battery for longevity because I have not owned it long enough to know one way or the other. The Can-Am Spyder tends to be hard on batteries. So we will see. I do know that lithium batteries have a reputation of lasting at least as long as standard or AGM batteries. We will see.

Happy overall - was most concerned about size
The media could not be loaded. After years of considering it I finally bought these lithium ion batteries to replace the AGM lead acid batteries in my Sea Doo. These are working great and the spacers that came with it made it fit perfectly. The one drawback is the threaded "nuts" that go into the contact points - always a risk of falling out and losing them. But a small piece of electrical tape over the side will prevent this. I would probably go 4.5 stars since they didn't thread the contacts, but I'll go ahead and still give it 5 stars for now.

Dead after 2 months
After 2 months battery barely starts my bike. At first it turned over my bike super fast. Unbelievably fast. 127 inch Evo. Didn’t even need the compression releases. Now it will barely start. The nice thing is the battery has a built-in tester. So I press the button and now only one light out of the three light up saying that it is real low voltage. contacted the seller at first they said that they would send a replacement. Then a little while later they sent another email saying that the battery has a six month warranty but I have to send it back so they can test it and then decide if they send a replacement. Oh and I would have to pay for shipping both ways. I am opting not to do this because then I will not have a battery in my bike and it will just be sitting for what 2? 3 weeks?. At least I can jumpstart it if need be with the junk battery in it.I was hesitant about purchasing a lithium ion battery in the first place but was amazed when I got it how fast it turned over the bike and how light it was.I will be going back to AGM from a local source so that I can deal with in person...

Lighter & more cca
1st it comes with wires for batt tender so no need to add. 2nd it shows batt level with push of button. 3rd there are posts on each corner so terminals will be correct place, no need to stretch cables to fit.4th it's soo much lighter.I got trickle charger but bike charges it fine without modification so not sure why.My HD doesn't care about the weight but in cold weather it doesn't like to start. This is batt #4 in 5 years and best so far. At freezing temps this batt keeps cranking until I'm going.batt needs to warm up when it's cold. Last batt was 500 cca way overkill and it worked great until it got cold. I got this when there was snow on the ground and it has been great. Highly recommend.(please verify your bikes charging voltage range is compatible with this batt before purchasing is my only concern in recommending)

Cautiously optimistic
This is ridiculously light. It almost feels like a fake, it's so light. Also smaller than the old one, but it does come with little boosters you can put on the bottom to make it fit normally. It also did start my ATV with no problem at freezing temperatures. Only time will tell if this battery holds up. Never had one before and with so few reviews, definitely risky, but I wanted to get away from replacing the battery every 2-3 years. I have no complaints YET, just the promise that if this thing has problems, this review will be updated.

Quality Battery that lasts.
I have two identical 4 stroke snowmobiles that absolutely require a charged battery to start. Two years ago I replaced the battery in each machine. I put this light weight smaller battery in my wife's machine and a standard battery in mine. This week my standard battery failed nearly leaving me stranded miles in the backcountry if it were not for the people I was riding with. I have since ordered two new MMG Lithium Ion Sealed Batteries. One went in my machine and one will be a backup. They are small enough and light that it isn't an issue carrying a spare. In a couple more months this will be the battery going into my motorcycle as well.

Great for the price!!!
I compare this battery to braille batteries. This battery has better cranking power for a fraction of the price. I bought one, evaluated then bought another. I use a special charger for these type of batteries. Plus this battery is half the weight.
