Multifunction LCD Battery Capacity Meter Voltmeter with Temperature Display Battery Fuel Gauge Indicator Voltage Monitor (24V)

Working as intended to monitor power generation and battery temperature on a wind turbine project.

Installed on a AGM Battery. The meter uses voltage to estimate battery capacity and it can be ‘calibrated’ by min and max voltage so it can’t be 100% accurate but nevertheless useful. Very pleased with this purchase.

A well made instrument, which appears to give accurate voltage and temperature readings. The menu allows selection of battery types. With a selection of LiFePo4 the indicated charge level appears to lineally follow the voltage reading between 0% and 100%. This is not appropriate for lithium batteries which have a charge/voltage characteristic with a long plateau.

This is perfect for my second leisure battery that powers my cool box when off grid. I don’t use the alarm just the % of battery power. Simple connection simple to use.

Does what it says. Cannot really comment on accuracy but know reason to believe it is not accurate.It is a basic voltage and percentage gauge with the addition of a built in thermometer.It fits the purpose I bought it for so I am very happy.

Earlier this year I installed a 6 panel solar system. The main electric board was fitted to the wall in my Garage which is at the end of my garden around 65 feet. I wanted to have a way to see the status of the 4Lithium batteries from indoors especially during the coming winter months. Unfortunately I could not use any app or remote device at a price that I could afford. Whilst searching the internet I found this Multifunction LCD Battery Capacity Meter. This little gadget plus some14 gauge cablesolved the problem. It and the cable together was very cheap and was delivered very quickly via Amazon.The installation took less than an hour and was so easy to do. I was worried that it would not give me a true reading because of the distance but actually it is only 0.1 volt down. So that and the temperature reading is great. I can stay indoors during winter and know how my Solar system is working.I would recommend this meter.

The instructions really aren't clear and while this works ok on my lead acid battery when I change the settings for a Lifepo4 battery it reads 0%, brand new battery fully charged. Maybe just the settings but the instructions are not clear on how to set up for this type of battery. Battery is a 12v 60ah Lifepo4 if anyone can help with the correct settings.
