ARRBR Ram 10lb Recurve Youth Archery Set

This is a good size first bow for my 7 year old. She is 4ft tall and weighs just under 50lbs to give you an idea on her size. She has no problem with the weight of the pull and is able to get good distance with each shot. The only downfall of this set is the arrows are made of a lightweight wood and the tips may not handle much use. So i would recommend buying a little more sturdy arrows because we all want to avoid meltdowns! The ones included will work, but may be more prone to breaking with heavy use. Overall though this is a great price for a great bow!

My 5 year old loves it. He and I have been playing with it every afternoon. The bow is a sturdy fiberglass with a good bow string. The arrows are wood with little metal tips. I missed the target and hit the fence a couple of times which drove the wood shaft a quarter inch further into the little metal tip. I used several times and found it to be very accurate at about 35 feet. This should not be used unsupervised and if you leave it unstrung a five year old can not restring it. I would buy this again.

My granddaughter really likes this bow/arrow. It arrived on her Birthday which was perfect. Where can I order more arrows? One has met w/an inaccurate shot (or more). I can only find the those with suction tips. Thank you for the quick shipment. (She is 9)

I got this bow and arrow set today and I'm mostly pleased. This whole package is a beginners set. The bow is decent and the arrows aren't very accurate, but like I said they are beginner arrows. It is appropriate for a 7-12 age range. Overall, It's a good first archery set.

After experiencing Merida, Katniss and Girl Scout camp all in the same month, my 6 year old was sold on wanting a bow. After reading many reviews, I decided on this recurve bow. Not too cheapy but not shelling out tons of money too. It took my husband about 30 seconds to string it and then shoot a hole in the wall from across the room. We couldn't be more pleased!

This is my first bow and I must say it is really good. I love this it is the perfect size, it's easy to use, and is just fun! And the arrows are very good they are not great but they are still good. and the target, arrow holder, and arm guard are very good. so if you if you going to start archery, buy this bow set!

The bow is very nice for the price but the arrows are badly warped. Unfortunately, it isn't worth the drive to the post office to return the set. We'll have to use other arrows.

Strong basic bow. Arrows that came with product are usless. You will need to make and additional purchase for good quality arrows. Bow should last years.
