M&P Shield Model Black Grip No Imprint

This material, which is essentially some skateboard tape die-cut to fit, does make it much easier to grip the slide, and thus makes it much easier pull the slide back. The instructions are clear, and I put the product on without a problem. However, after a few times using it, a couple of the little "spider legs" have come off. Part of the problem is the design of the grooves on the slide of the M&P Shield. They are not cut deeply, and don't offer much purchase to start with. And because they aren't cut deeply, it's hard for this product to avoid being pulled off. I would guess that a couple of 1/2" x 1" rectangles of ordinary skateboard tape would work as well or better. In sum, I think the product is only so-so, for this particular model, and very expensive, for what you get.

I have 2 M&P shields. My everyday carry M&P Sheild M 2.0 9mm is stiffer than my other one and this little grip pad makes a huge difference in my reaction time with this gun. It fits perfect. It hasn’t come off yet. And it dives me a little extra confidence that my hand won’t slip when pulling back on the slide if my hands are wet or dirty or something along those lines. After all if you ever need the weapon, you won’t have time to wipe your hands on your pants to get a better grip on the slide. Awesome little product!

Great product but wish it came in basic rubber as an option to match my Talon grips. Like the fact it came with spare in case or bad install or replacement needed. Get a grip on your slide and use this! Good product and great fit.

Changed the technique for wracking slide. Much more effective. Very positive attachment . Use alcohol, clean twice. Sticks very well. Highly recommend .

Excellent product for enhanced slide manipulation.lots of added grip.easy to install if you take your time.seems a bit pricey for what it is but the added performance it adds makes up for the cost I guess.i wish Amazon offered it in the rubberized version.i consider the slide tape an added safety feature in my opinion.thank you arachnigrip and Amazon.

Makes a world of difference. Solid control and grip. Makes racking the slide a breeze. Will buy more for other handguns.

Bought these for my shield. Wife couldn’t rack the slide without it, she has a much easier time now. Pairs up extremely nice with the granulated talon grips.
