CatEye Velo 9 Bicycle Computer CC-VL820 (Black)

A very useful product to have for enthusiastic hobby cyclists. It gives all the basic information about your ride on a large and easy to read display. It is easy to set up but I would suggest checking out youtube for instructions on how to set it up. It looks and feels quite robust. The two main set up buttons are on the back of the unit. They are so small you will need a pin head to press on them. Fingers or nails don't work. Setting up the time in the clock can be a little difficult to work out. The company is Japanese but the unit is made in China.I wish it had the following - a screen protecting plastic sheet (like for mobile phones). And a button to erase your last ride details. Later Edit: I discovered later that this feature is already there in the unit. You just need to long press the mode button and it erases all the data about your last ride except the odo reading.Sliding it on and off the bracket is not the smoothest one has experienced. Later edit: After two or three times, it becomes quite smooth.But these are minor issues and not deal breakers. So unless you want to measure your cadence or power etc, this is good enough. It is not wireless. The wireless version costs a lot more. I don't mind a little bit of wire and save a lot of money.The unit came safe and sound. Well packaged. The price was superb, given that on Amazon itself there is another seller who has it for more than Rs 4K. This unit is legitimately imported with importer's name and details printed on the back, as per rules.

For the delivery i am giving 5 star, becuase it was delivered before the date. I am giving 4 star for velo 9 due to the cable length. It is little short , cateye need to add liitle more cable length . However it is the velo 9 is working nicely.
