Solid and Highly Functional
I had another brand (corner design) of this tool holder and was unhappy with it. It took up a lot of space, and was all plastic, and somewhat unstable when fully loaded with tools. So I bought this one. This was easy to assemble in 5 minutes or less and I did not even need to read the instructions (which were good). When assembled, I was surprised how sturdy it was. The struts that hold up the plates are metal. I would describe it as rock solid when assembled. When I loaded lots of tools on it (brooms, mops, paint roller, etc.) I was surprised how well it worked. All tools fit into the holes and all tools were stored neatly in a compact way. This takes up little room and works well. I had some items with thick handles, but they still fit in the holes. Only one item with a special handle didn't fit. For the price I would give this one five stars.

solid stand
This a great tool stand. Easy to install, super sturdy, hold all kinds of heavy tools, will not tip when you try to tip it over. It fits all kinds of tools and has just the right size holes and they can not fall out. I put 2 shovels, 2 large leaf rakes, 3 small rakes, 2 poles, a large dirt rake, a hoe, Large push broom, witches broom, small broom a small pooper scooper, 3 loppers and a big post hole digger with rubber handles on it that fit in the inside and outside holes. Could not be more pleased, I would but another one if I had more tools.

Use it to hold my golf clubs....
I use this to hold my clubs while I'm hitting into our practice nets in the backyard. I can load it with the clubs I want to hit and its really convenient and useful for that application.I store it upside down outside since the round cups in the base where each tool (or club) stand don't drain and water collects in them. Apparently not intended for outdoor use.One star deduction for sloppy fit at times, you have to pound each level with a mallet and they have loosened up a few times when I moved the thing around.

Sturdier then old plastic corner unit had in shed.
Very simple design. Compact. Practical. Sturdier than the old plastic corner unit had in shed that collapsed. Hope this unit lasts. Wish it came in different color; black would be nice. Like other reviewers wish a few handle holes were a little larger. The whole unit could even be a little larger for the price. A little pricey for size and plastic. Still like it. Great for shed, closet, garage, basement to corral all those handles that get away and dance across the walls and collapse on floor.

Works Great with Suncast Vertical Sheds
I ordered this because I needed a way to corral the long-handled tools in a Suncast small vertical shed. The Mr. LongArm fits nicely in this small space; the top of the stand is low enough that you can insert and remove tools without having to pull the stand out of the shed. I also like the wider base gives the whole unit extra stability. At first glance you'll think there's no way to fit many handles in its small organizer top, but it's surprisingly roomier than it looks. I like that there was room for the tool stand, about a dozen tools and a little bit of extra space to the side for a weed whacker. It's almost as if the Mr. LongArm was designed for the Suncast cabinet.Be sure to use a mallet when you assemble it, and don't be afraid to really whack the tubes into place (I used a piece of cardboard as a protective cushion, but the tubes are sturdy enough that it probably wasn't necessary.)

Buyer beware...there was a design change in the poles without a change to the deck.
****Update 12/2014***: I'm increasing my rating from two to three stars since I did hear from the manufacturer about this purchase and it was resolved to my satisfaction. As the company explained to me, there was a design change in the poles without a change to the deck where the poles fit (like I suspected) and some product slipped out that was "impossible to put together". I got one of those units. It looks like this product has been updated and now has a new model number. You can search for 0072 Mr. Long Arm on Amazon. Now that the company has fixed the issue with this product, I would recommend it to anyone.Original Review:I really wanted to like this more than I do. I bought it because it was the exact size I need for the space I have. It is about the only tool organizer I could find that is this small (about 18" square at the base and 12" square in the middle and top and about 19" high). Most other organizers are twice this size. I was going to make one but since this one was the size I needed, I thought I would give it a try instead of creating another time-consuming project. The product comes in pieces. You get the base, middle and top decks and 4 poles that are silver in color (not 5 black poles like item pictured). The poles are aluminum but there is no center pole (like in the picture) even though there is a hole to accommodate a center pole. The poles are crimped in the center so the middle deck rests on the crimp and doesn't fall. The poles have the same diameter on both sides.Be prepared for a very problematic installation. The instructions say to use a mallet to hammer the top deck on the poles. I tried this on one of the corners and it began to crack the frame. This is when I looked at what was going on. The poles do not fit into the top deck. It is not even close. Under the top deck is a hole. Inside that hole is a cylindrical male piece of plastic that is supposed to fit inside the aluminum tube. The issue is that this male plastic fitting is an 1/8" bigger than the *outer* diameter of the tube. It is no where close to the size of the inner diameter of the tube. There is just no way to fit the tube over this male fitting. I suspect this is secondary to the fact that there was obviously a change in the pole design (and number of poles) without a corresponding design change to the insert in the top deck. The (5) black poles like those in the picture were likely a slightly larger diameter than the current (4) silver poles. The old poles may have fit over the male fitting. The new poles do not.Instead of sending this back, I decided to compensate for the poor design decisions of this company. Since the poles were aluminum, I took out a high intensity heat gun and heated one end of a tube. I put the top deck upside-down so the male fitting (the tube was supposed to fit around) was facing up. I got the tube nice and hot and basically melted away the outer 3/16" ring of plastic so the tube fit over the fitting inside the hole. I repeated this process 4 times and put the rest of it together. This product is defective, as-is. I do not expect that many people would be prepared to do what is needed to put this together. However, I needed this exact size for the space I had and I couldn't find any alternatives to buy. It also would have taken me more time to build my own. The fact that the poles were metal and could be heated up was the only saving-grace. If the the poles were plastic, I would have wrapped this thing back up and shipped it promptly back to Amazon because there is no way the poles are fitting into the top deck without modification.Buyer beware.

I'M SO IMPRESSED WITH THIS ORGANIZER!!!
It's VERY STURDY, it's REALLY EASY TO ASSEMBLE (my son used his bare hands to pound it together in just a few minutes), and it holds ALL my cleaning tools in the house plus garage tools for my garden as well! Even tools with slightly larger handles will fit (snugly). This tool/broom/mop/etc. organizer is so handy that I already filled it up with all my "inside" stuff, so I just ordered two more for the garage and this one is for inside the house. No more searching for "where did I put that broom/mop/shovel/rake/etc."? AND it's MADE IN THE USA, so I'm supporting this small company proudly. What a great idea and product they have created! Look at all the reviews: EVERYONE LOVES IT! Give it a try! I'm totally thrilled with it!
