A total hoax
This was a gift for my son who is 10 and capable of putting this together. It went together easily. However, it doesn't work unless there are batteries (2AA) which aren't shown in the picture. The soda container is on top of where the batteries would be in picture. Doesn't work at all without batteries...really? How is it soda-powered if it doesn't work on soda and needs batteries? Upon setting the time, it never changes (stuck at 3:35). The pendulum is totally fake and does nothing. This is no "experiment in electricity" as the box says. It is a hoax and very disappointing.
