If you're looking for a cheaper desktop, look somewhere else.
This is, by far, the most utterly useless 'computer' I have ever bought. The Android was unusable, so I figured out how to install the Lubuntu image on the NAND. This, at least, rendered the board partially usable. I am now able to run an IRC client and FireFox(with **SIGNIFICANT** issues). If you're looking for a cheaper alternative for a desktop PC, this is definitely not for you. ARM releases of linux aren't yet to the point where you can do anything useful at all. If you're looking for an ARM development board, this might be for you.The Cons:Lubuntu is slow to the point of frustration on this machine. No videos of any sort will play acceptably, they pause unexpectedly, jump, and in general behave in the most appalling manner.Reliance on blobs makes it difficult to impossible to update the kernel.Too many other drawbacks to list. The Pros:HexChat works well enough I can chat in IRC on my television. That's it.

This is a powerful little computer. Android is installed on the nand but is not very well adapted to use with a normal monitor, keyboard and mouse. It's very fast though. Ubuntu linux is an available image for nand and SD. I've used the SD Desktop version of the image and it works pretty well. Libre Office is ported as well as firefox and claws-mail along with other useful apps. This is not a computer for a novice however. It is still more in the techy hobby category than for use as an actual desktop computer.UPDATE: 11-11-2014I've just updated to the new Lubuntu Desktop sd image compiled 11-5-2014 and it is more stable with several bugs fixed. I installed this image on an SD and then restored other than the kernel from a backup. All the software I had installed came back. I'm using this computer as my desktop at work and as a thin-client accessing several virtual computers. I also have several mounted Windows shares. Several of the issues I had with stability appear to have been addressed. While at $120 or so it's a bit more expensive that a Banana Pi, Firefox is much more responsive as is Libre Office. At this point it is working very well. I'm using a 21" DVI monitor.

radxa power supply
bought one about 6 months ago.i have had a problem booting until recently.when i first tried booting i would get to the splash screen and keep rebooting.i tried a few different power packs with the same results.finally i ordered an apple oem power pack that was 2.5 amps.tried it today and it finally works properly.i had just about given up with this board and it sat in the box for a long time.i ordered the power pack from ebay for less than $4.when i refer to the power pack it is cell phone charger.hope this helps anybody that is having the same problem.
