Crazy Aaron'sThinking Putty 4" Tin - Mystifying Mermaid Hypercolor - Color Changing Putty, Firm Texture - Never Dries Out

Just as it's name suggests, this putty truly is "mystifying". It has sparkles in it, both big and small, that give it the resemblance of fish scales, or in this case mermaid scales. And just as advertised, it starts out as a lovely aquamarine blue, and gradually shifts to a light sea foam green as you work it in your hands.For me, it only takes around 3-5 minutes to get the color to change. However, I have warm little hands that can melt chocolate after just a minute or two of holding, so that's probably a big contributing factor lol.Overall, it's tons of fun to play with by tearing it in half and working one piece into the sea foam green, and then twisting the two colors together before squishing them to give it a marbled appearance. Highly recommend as a fidget toy for work or just keeping your hands busy in general.

This is a clear based putty with a great texture and color. It color changes quite quickly ( maybe a later formula? I saw a few youtube videos in which there was difficulty getting the putty to change color) The mermaid putty was a little less blue in it's cool/room temp color than I expected, but still very pretty and a VERY big change in color from cool to warm ( played with) temps. Very sparkly pretty glitter in the putty. I love the texture of this putty. Not sticky at all.

I have been a big fan of Crazy Aaron's putty for a long time, and I like to try all the new colors they come out with. My kids love this Mermaid Tale color. It arrived on time and the putty itself was a beautiful color. I saw some other commenters mentioned a smell- i did not experience any odor from the product. I really like that it doesn't dry out when my kids leave the lid off. I highly recommend this as a gift for kids!

Should have read the reviews before ordering this. Unfortunately I have to agree with others about the lack of color change. I thought maybe I was doing it wrong or that it took longer than I was giving it time for but after reading the reviews I guess that's just how it is. Not really concerned about the color, I like green, and I don't think it smells like glue, just wanted to see the color change.

I’m surprised to read these reviews as my experience with Mystifying Mermaid is the complete opposite! I collect most of Crazy Aaron’s putties and while this one is soft like some of the others (Super Scarab) it feels amazing!

My kids love thinking puddy. Doesn’t stick to most hard surfaces, but be careful of anything fuzzy (like blankets or carpets) because it will stick like glue. Very vibrant colors and super fun for all ages!

Cant make it to change color or glow in the dark. Not as stretchy as my kid expected. Stopped playing it the next day.

It really turns colors. Is great for stress and mindfulness. Love it more than I thought ! Use it daily.
