My car was barely a years old when some <insert insult of choice> left me a nice scratch in a parking lot. The scratch was about 6 inch long but very narrow and a bit deep - revealing the white underneath the paint. This kit completely repaired the scratch.I am not at all experienced with repairing scratches. I cleaned the area with a damp paper towel. Then I applied the paint, making sure to fill in the crack, and not bothering with doing a thin layer at a time. The paint definitely went outside of the crack and was raised on the surface and I was worried that I would have to give up and take the car to a shop. However, I waited 20 minutes, then used the buffing compound with a microfiber cloth and rubbed hard around the scratch - leave a bit of the compound directly on the surface and rub hard and the excess will come off. I then applied the clear coat, waited 20 minutes and buffed it well again. Looks like new.None of the other rubbing only stuff works, even the two step kits. You definitely need the paint for anything that reveals primer.

I was amazed how well they color matched. The only thing is I would buy the jar instead of the pen. Application was troublesome with the pen. But other than that, they're the go to company for touch up paint.Update: their paint is better than OEM touch up. The only thing is I wished they'd have a similar pen design to the OEM one as it was easier to apply and manipulate paint with that compare to theirs.

Easy to apply and matches very well. Need to be up close and really looking for the scratch to find it. Highly recommend!

Kit worked ok, Paint did match, but needed more prep and finish work then direction suggested.

My boyfriend got a brand new 2016 crosstrek a few months ago and when he noticed a few spots from rocks kicking up, his face said it all. I got this for him for Christmas and he was estatic, he loved it and when we double checked the color, it was perfect!
