Insightful and Helpful
Wow ... I just realized that although I've been active on Amazon since 1998, this is my first review ever! I am a big fan of The Wiggles, and also a children's entertainer - both since 1999.Anthony Field recounts his days leading up to forming The Wiggles - including tales of his '80s pop/punky/new wavey The Cockroaches ... yes! He had something of another career before "turning blue'!Speaking of "blue," he reveals a lifetime battle with depression - something that even the most ardent fans wouldn't know about. What major fans do know is that Anthony has gone battled injuries with his back, teeth, etc. as he has had to miss a few shows here and there through the years. Hold those thoughts for a moment. Also included are recollections about The Wiggles' nearly ten-year run as kiddie kings in Oz before gloing global and rocking the States in a way that hasn't really happened before or since in children's entertainment. The Wiggles are incredibly unique - they are fun first, educational second, and never, ever, preachy. They're not hipsters, who off stage think they're too cool to do what they're doing - The Wiggles are simply real, cool, and Anthony's tales and anecdotes bear that out.The second half of the book talks about how Anthony turned around some major aspects of his life. His savior? Plyometrics. After seeing doctors around the world, trying medications, and more, he finally comes across a doctor Stoxen in Chicago. Stoxen determines that Anthony's "human spring" is locked, and the book devotes itself to Stoxen's treatments seeing Anthony through to a state of good health like he's never had in his life.Half memoir, half self-help text, this book is unique in its "field" (pardon the pun) and again, as a children's entertainer, I can totally relate to sustaining injury (and believe in the "locked spring" idea - I strive to keep me unlocked). I also relate (and so can anyone) to Anthony's revelations that The Wiggles have done their best to keep business affairs in house as much as possible, against the odds. Tales abound in this tome of shady companies not believing in a concept that has gone on to be one of the most successful ever. Take that, stodgy industry! How you handle life and its challenges is really the overall theme of this book. It's entertaining, insightful, and possibly inspirational.

Not what you'd expect, but interesting
I read this book because all of our kids have loved the Wiggles. Our oldest is almost sixteen and was obsessed with the Wiggles when he was a baby. This past year we have been fostering toddlers so we pulled out all of the old Wiggles videos. The kids just love them. I think they were much better when Greg was singing and the songs were more original back then. Anyway since we started watching them again we wondered what happened to all of them. I wanted to read Greg's book, but it is listed at like $1,000 for some reason. This book wasn't what I expected as it was mostly about health, but I learned a lot from it. We have always bought our children Robeez leather shoes to allow their feet to grow naturally without being compressed by shoes. This book made me feel like we made a good decision by doing that and letting our kids walk around the house and in the yard barefoot.

How I Got My wiggle Back: A Memoir of Healing.
Our family has been following the Wiggles for years. In the beginning Anthony was on the cubby side. But as the years went on I began to see a difference in him. This book will tell the story of how he went downhill and then the climb back up the hill. I have not finished reading the book yet. His secret is chiropractic care. The Wiggles entertain children and their families across the world. A big part of what the Wiggles stand for is wholesome living. This book will show you how you can transform your life. Don't use the excuse you are too old. Anthony did not turn his life around until after age 40. His life has just begun anew. Do yourself a favor and read how you can improve your life just as Anthony did. A MUST read!

Love the Wiggles
I'm so glad he got it back! If they haven't already they should each write their own story about their upbringing and about the Wiggles group and publish one big biography. I really enjoyed that part of the book. When it got to the chiropractice side, I think those chapters could have used more explanation. I'm going to see if I can find out more about the two doctors mentioned to get more facts about their philosophies and practices.

Anthony's wiggle is definitely back!
Anthony Field is very candid about his life, whether it is the ups or downs. If your child is a Wiggles fan, this book gives a brief history of the group. The rest of the book explains how Anthony has gotten his life back by getting in shape (pictures of just how "in shape" he is are included...grin!). Thanks to this book, I'm more careful about how I walk and what I eat. Maybe someday my wiggle will be replacing my jiggle;)

Made my life so much better by reading this,
Anthony Field has put everything out for you to read and has written it in a fantastically understandable way. I have been where he is and still am struggling with depression and many other ailments. Knowing that he has been there, suffered like I have and yet has found a solution to be able to overcome his illness's. I am now going to look into the Dr in whom helped him and maybe try and see if there is another Dr nearer to where I live to be able to help me. This is a FANTASTIC READ !!!!! Jodi

Anthony Wiggle
This is a very interesting and well written book. Through my two grandchildren I feel as though I know the Wiggles very well and was interested to read about Anthony's challenges and how he coped with them. Also I learned a lot about how the way we walk can affect your body and have taken quite a few tips from the book.

Inspirational
As someone who battled fibromyalgia, this book is truly inspirational. The hints are very helpful and this book was full of aha moments for me, it was almost as if I was reading my own life story. Who knew I was battling the same physical issues as my favorite Wiggle. This book gives me hope that I can over come chronic pain.

sorry, but boring.
I thought this was going to be about Antony "wiggle", but it was more about the exercise regimes that he used to do to get himself well again. It was to be honest, boring and not what i expected. It had limited stories about what he used to do, or what he is doing now. Like i said, it is like a fitness and dietary book rather than a biography that i was expecting.
