Works as expected
Needed this for a Wifi Access point that uses POE.. Didn't want to purchase a new POE Switch..Saving me a load of cash as I only have the 1 PoE device.Provides power over ethernet flawlessly, I have this device where my switch is located then I have run a cable from the PoE injector to the WiFi Access point (about 25m)All power and network signals from the Access Point work.Would buy again if I need another.Pros• Small• Cheap• Efficient Solution for single PoE DeviceCons• Lots of wires!

More expensive and you get what you pay for
Bought to replace a no-name PoE splitter that died after powering my fibre modem (ONT) for about 30 seconds. That was a few months ago, since when this thing has continued soldiering on with zero issues. Yes, it's more expensive than most of the PoE splitters here but this one actually works. NOTE: The advertised 30W power output is not accurate. The device's own specs state 12.5W at 5V, 18W at 9V or 24W at 12V. I suspect 30W is the max power drawn from the PoE source.

Horrible design
its is a PoE so it does that , but when it comes to plunging and unplugging the cables it is impossible , its not a military grade that wants to make sure that the cable doesn't come of , you plug it in and it sits in cabinet or any other place for 5 years before you need to touch it again ,there is a barrier just above the cable pin that makes it impossible to unplug a cable with hand , i had to use a driver to push the cable pin in and pull the cable to unplug it , awe-full , horrible design
