PPE 129020107 Transfer Case Miscellaneous Components

The media could not be loaded.  Installed this tonight. Took me about 1-2hrs. Worked with simple tools and no lift.Tools you will need.3/8 ratchet, 10mm socket for transfer case. 15mm socket for transmission bolts. Up to 20" in extensions and 1 universal joint.Great welding job on the bracing. Stainless steel looked great. No need for a painted one since its underneath the cab. Followed instructions. Driver side was a pain because of the front shaft, and other accessories. You will have to bend a small wire harness bracket downwards to clear the bracket. Install from the driveshaft and slide up. Plenty of room. Bolt holes lined up. Torque to specs in booklet.

I did a full rebuild of my Duramax, the transmission, and transfer case in my 2007 Silverado Classic. I thought a little extra support back there would be in order, especially for participating in four wheel drive launches. The PPE Transfer Case Brace fit the bill and was a perfect install. The install was easy and everything lined up right. It would even be easy with the cab on! I highly recommend this to anyone with a Silverado that has the Allison transmission and four wheel drive.

This is the brace to have. After some research, PPE was the only shop that seemed to overbuild this brace, gussets and all, and it’s very competitively priced. Yeah, it may not be powder coated, but it still looks phenomenal in SS, plus, it’s going to be above the transmission, so really, who’s going to see it?

Perfect fit. Hopefully this prevents adapter housing and transfer case damage as they state. Mine lined up with no persuasion. I read a few had issues by mine lined up perfectly. Make sure not to pinch off the transfer case breather hose. The fitment is tight but you don't even need to lift the truck to install this part.

Brace is made of heavy duty stainless steel with beautiful tig welds holding it together. Pre drilled holes all lined up perfectly to my transfer case and transmissions housing. Honestly no complaints whatsoever I am very happy with PPEs brace

Installed on 2006 LBZ. Installed while transmission and xfer case were out of the truck, but still a super simple install and looks great. Too bad almost no one will ever see it.I have already been satisfied with PPE products and this is no exception.

I've gotten used to being disappointed with performance auto parts but.....This thing is beautiful and fits perfectly! Tig welds, chromoly, etc. Installed in about 30 minutes. I could not be happier with this product!

This brace is well made, sturdy. I got this one because it is stainless steel, so I won't worry about rust or peeling paint. It fit perfectly, and was easy to install unless than 30 minutes.
