Let there be light...
So far, I love this thing. No wiring needed and it's a relatively bright little sucker ;) We're using this in closet (probably the best use for it). Since we don't need to be in there very often, I'm hoping it should last a nice long time. Used the anchors, just to be safe, but this is so light weight it's more just so I don't pop it out of the roof when I need to change the batteries. The batteries probably weigh more than the rest of it. Three C batteries. THREE. Luckily, that's exactly what we had on hand :D I might even get another one for another closet :)

Fantastic Light
We keep out outrigger canoes in shipping containers by the waters edge. Winter time is what we call small boat season because it coincides with the races in Hawaii. This is when we use our OC1's the most. But after work during winter the sun has already gone down and it is dark outside. To help light up the back of the container so when we see when we take our canoes off the rack or put back in after practice, I installed these lights in all 3 containers. The sensors work great turning them on only when we are accessing the containers and shut off automatically after we leave. I can put a set of batteries in (3 C cells) at the start of winter and they last for over a year. I wasn't sure if that would be the case considering cold winter temperatures usually suck the batteries down but I have had several of these lights for over a year before buying a 3rd one for the 1st container. They have not failed yet. I like these lights so much I even bought some for my basement at home.

Light over the shower
The kid's bathroom has a fairly dim light and it's pretty dark in the shower. Installed this above the shower (there's a shower curtain and decently high ceiling, so it's not enclosed in a damp space). This works great, and the first set of batteries lasted for 2 years before replacing.

Convenient
Hung one in a closet, the other right outside the back door. Do not like to keep lights on at night, too many insects and those that eat insects that are attracted to the light. Have worked well. However, the installation was not exactly as expected. The screws seem to prevent the sliding aspect of the two sections. Had to make due.

Great for shower/tub
I had this item in an old apartment, and bought it again for a new place I just moved into. It's perfect in a shower/tub where the shower curtain blocks out light from the bathroom. It takes about a minute to install, and makes a huge difference. The motion sensor is quite sensitive, which I suppose you want, however sometimes will pick up motion even with the shower curtain closed. Not a big deal, again you want it to be sensitive, but just a small con.The only thing is I wish the light stayed on a bit longer - it does require pretty constant movement to stay on. Ex. if you're maybe taking a bath and laying fairly still, the light will cut off within about a min or less.

Lights up a large pantry!
I've tried other lights but this one is by far the best one I've gotten. We have a large pantry with no power and this works perfectly! Thinking of buying another one to replace light in my other pantry.

Good Solution for Non-Electricians
Like other reviewers, I have a lighting problem in my bathroom shower stall. The experience would definitely be enhanced by having a light directly overheard in the shower - something which I don't have. I saw this on sale and it seemed like the perfect solution for me, who doesn't want to involve an electrician or hardwire any new hardware. That said, I also didn't want to drill any new holes so I used 3M tape and it holds securely - the only thing I'm worried about over time is the humidity might get to the adhesive - but no concerns in the short term. The light is good - the motion detection is good too. Not overly sensitive but intuitive enough that I don't have to wave my hand to get it to turn on. The light stays on for 30 seconds after motion is detected but what I really enjoy is the fact that if you're in it's range consistently, it doesn't shut off to detect motion before turning on again - it maintains a steady light until motion is no longer detected.

DISAPPOINTED
While these LED lights are a super idea and work, i've only had them for a little over a month and they are already losing strength. By that i mean that the motion sensors are not as quick and come on more slowly. I would like to have some made-to-last LED lights, preferably made here in the USA. Would appreciate Amazon letting me know if they carry USA-made LED lights. Thank You!!
