Great for cooking for two
Use if for cooking gluten free only and works out great for my husband and myself. I thought it would give more options for my husband to fix lunch etc on when he wanted to grill something maybe just for himself. So far we have used it for waffles and pancakes, but I don't think he has gotten creative yet. Cleans easily.

Quit working first time using.
I made waffles using my total chef, for the first time this morning. I got the first batch done and started the second batch and the total chef quit working. Husband checked the outlets and GFI and it wasn’t that so it was the waffle maker. Bummer to not even get one breakfast out of it.

Should have purchased 2 when I had the low price.
My daughter loved it, she especially loved the interchangeable plates. Well worth the price I paid.

Arrived on time
This has interchangeable parts so we've been using them and making all kinds of stuff, but when we purchase another one, we'll make sure that it has hotter delivery and a timer. This Koolatron is worth the money we purchased it for, but, it is low wattage and this means it takes a bit longer to deliver a product. The up side of going slower is that we've yet to burn anything. So, it's safer around kids.

This time you don’t get what you paid for…
Very flimsy overall. Thin plates, weak plastic. Have to have lights off to see LEDs. I replaced an old one I had bought for half the price that was far better quality. It has very little depth so I don’t recommend putting more than a thin slice of meat and cheese in a sandwich. It will still overflow because the pockets are so small.

Takes forever
This product takes forever to heat up and to cook. I purchased it for waffles but have also made panini sandwiches. The plates are easy to install and clean, but the rest of the device becomes very greasy and is harder to clean.

Great Product!
Perfect size and the plates are interchangealbe and can be washed in the dishwasher. Love this product for making grill cheese sandwiches.
