Buy the album
I first learned about Jedi Mind Tricks from one of my best friends and so I couldn't find it in stores or anywhere else. When I heard my friends copy, I was hooked. Awesome beats and lyrics keep you captivated each song on the album. Hopefully one day people will realize that underground groups like JMT and other artists such as Virtuoso, 7L & Esoteric and more have more skillz than most of these mainstream rappers. They even surpass the recent Wu-Tang release IMHO, and that is by far a tight achievement for two rappers and a producer to accomplish. Buy the album, support JMT and one day we could see their video playin on BET or MTV.

15 years old, but hasn't lost it's charm
This is the hip hop I remember from high school. Rugged, raw, sick beats, feat. a young Vinnie Paz, before he was molded into the rapper he is today. Still, very much, a great album. Stoupe's beats are on point as always. With a very early appearance of AOTP. A must listen to for Jedi Mind Trick fans.

Jedi Mind Tricks vs Dead Prez
never heard much of JMT until scanning reviews of other artists in the genre...very similar to a Dead Prez feel to the album. To me good hip hop begins with the beats and is carried out with lyrics (regardless of the profanity) that mean something. While violent and vicious the lyrics do have a message or at least an opinion that one can grab onto. Can't stand rap/hip hop that's only about the same garbage of money, bling, and women with some weak hook of a word they just made up...terrible. JMT have legit mic skills and show it in all tracks on this disc...I love Dead Prez' first CD "Let us be Free" I think as well...a classic. Great album I'll be looking to explore more of their catalouge.

One of the best albums I ever heard
One of the sickest albums of all time .. In my top 5 for sure . If you never heard of them but loved with tang clan music back in the day buy this .. Crazy lyrics and beats it's a classic .

Great album, mediocre reissue.
This is one of my all-time fav albums and I was excited to see it get a 2012 reissue, so I immediately ordered it. Came on nice cokebottle-clear vinyl on 2 LPs, but with one major problem. They crammed them into one sleeve without a paper insert or anything else! There's no way to even look at the tracklist without looking at the actual label on the record. This album is a classic and deserves a nice gatefold, or at least a tracklisting on the back cover. Otherwise satisfied.

Started listening to JMT a little while ago, but didn't start with this one. I understand now why this is so highly rated. It is one of the best albums of its era. The beats are hard and the lyrics are too. The combination of Vinnie Paz and Jus Allah works brilliantly - it's a shame they split up so soon. The album maybe over-does it a bit with the guest appearances, but it's not a big deal. The version I got includes a bonus DVD with a decent behind the scenes tour documentary and an early music video. This is real hip hop, but not for those who are easily offended.

Klassiker!
Ein sehr gutes Album von JMT, das in jeder gut sortierten Hip-Hop-Sammlung vorhanden sein sollte. Ein sehr stimmig-düsteres Werk mit passenden Texten. Mittlerweile ein Klassiker, der hier öfters mal rotiert.Die Verarbeitung der Vinyl ist in Ordnung, mir stößt Clear Vinyl allerdings immer etwas sauer auf, da es einfach wie billiges Plastik aussieht. Das ist aber natürlich Geschmackssache.

Beau coffret et excellent album
Excellent album, des samples efficaces, des prods supérieures à leurs autres opus et qui permettent à V. Paz de lâcher son flow comme du miel dans un camping pour oursons. Des propos toujours saillants, des featuring comme il faut (Bahamadia, Tragedy Khadafi, Sean P. -pour la réédition de 2004-), bref du tout bon. Régalez vous !!!
