Does not slow down a bit
My previous grinder was a Chicago pneumatic and the bearings in that started to wear too quick. This blue one is awesome compared to that. It's bulky and it had some weight to it. It will not stop or slow down no matter how much pressure i put on it. And it has rear exhaust and a free moving end where the male connector goes in to so that's pretty nice. Not really any downsides so far except its recoil really makes your hand go flying

Durable and powerful.
Far superior than many others I've tried, especially for the price. I'm a fabricator on ship repairs for the US Navy. I'm hard on these tools and this one is my number 1.

Best value I’ve found
I like these die grinders. As a career metal sculptor, I have about 60 pneumatic grinders. Some are high dollar, high quality, some are big box store brands, some are obscure experiments and I still have some cheap ones that are too noisy for regular use. I value noise level, and power most of all. (All these grinders have different wheels, burrs, pads and brushes so I can change them out as infrequently as possible)These Sumac 90’s are (perhaps) the best grinder for the price. So far, they out perform my Husky, CH, HF, Jet, Dewalt and CN: less noise than all of those brands except the Husky, but the Sumac is a lot more powerful than the Husky.Only the 1hp grinders I have put out more power, and they all cost a lot more; and the Capri 90degree-1hp are almost twice as loud. This Sumac is on a level with the Aircat .5hp 90 (noise and power) but the Aircat is almost twice as expensive.I hate the adjustable exhaust direction. It either blows in my face, or blows oil all over the project. I much prefer a simple rear exhaust system, because with die grinding, you’re always moving and changing the use angles. It’s almost impossible to set these in a way that doesn’t eventually blast you’re face shield with oil. No thank you. As with other brands that are trying this new idea, I end up modifying the exhaust so it follows out the rear, straight down the air hose.Time will tell, and in a year or two, perhaps I will update this review on the durability and life of the grinder.Jacob Dean-October 2022- I used this white plastic corrugated tube to direct the air down the hose. I know they intend the directional air adjustment to be a neat new feature, but I hate it. Now, my Sumake grinders look like a 1960’s robot, and they work much more to my personal preference.

Powerful and not a screamer
It is kind of bulky but that is because it is a .5 horsepower. It is not a screamer so they noise level is lower than the less powerful 20k versions. The speed is adjustable to use less SCFM for less powerful compressors. It sounds like a Husky but seems more powerful.

Would even be great at 3x the price
Ive had grinders that cost 3x the price.they have no power.bad triger designs. This grinder does not stall.its quieter than the others. Im going to buy the straight grinder now
