Love it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is the first lyra I’ve owned and it definitely does the job! Safety isn’t a worry, this bad boy is very sturdy. The bar is a bit thicker than I’m used to but regardless it still works. I definitely recommend wrapping this guy though, two days of play and my hands are shredded. It’s worth it though! Also, I’m 5 foot 2 and got a 35 in hoop (for reference).

Quality is great, metal is too thick for my preference
I got the single point lyra in 33" (though when I measured the inside it is actually 34"). I am mostly happy with everything, the only thing that I didn't like was the metal thickness. It is thicker than the lyras I am used to using and this causes my hands to fatigue much faster. Grips are a littler harder as well and any type of leg hang is more challenging with the thickness. The metal thickness measurement was not in the product description so this was something I didn't know beforehand and it was a surprise. For anyone who doesn't have a thickness preference or maybe wants thicker metal in their hands this will be great! All the equipment that came with the hoop is super good quality too.

I'm 5'2" and should have gotten a 32" hoop
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. One of the best items I ever bought. I should have gotten the 1-tab or tab-less hoop instead of the double-tab hoop. I ended up wrapping my hoop because I have extremely sweaty so I have more grip.I also got a 36" (92cm) hoop. I should have gotten a smaller one. I should have gotten a 31in or 32in. For height reference, I'm 5'2" and kinda flexible. A big hoop is nice if your taller and less bendy.

My daughter loves it
My daughter is so happy with her very own hoop. We love it and my husband said he only needed to buy a couple things to hang it safely for her.

Get a better one on Etsy for less!
Made in China— not confident in quality. Seems cheaply made, very hollow and not a true circle. Tabs seem a bit far apart for each other. I returned it and bought one from a legit USA metal worker on Etsy for less. The Etsy hoop has almost invisible welds, is less hollow and is a true circle. See photos to compare. This one is thicker, lighter and does not seem like true stainless steel.Photos:1. Hoop from Etsy2. Front hoop is from Etsy, back is this one.3. Weld on this hoop’s tab4. This hoop

She Thick. And I Love Her.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I’ve never owned my own apparatus, so I have experience using a lot of different ones. I was surprised when I realized she really was thicker than your average lyra. But I’ve grown to love it, and now I actually prefer it. Some things are more difficult, some things are actually a little more comfortable. It’s an easy adjustment. I really don’t even notice a difference anymore since this has been my primary apparatus. She’s hollow, but a little heavier because of the width of the bar. The carabiners in the set are very easy to use even though they’re not auto-lock. The swivel spins like butter. I’m a very happy bird.

"Tippy" Lyra
I am loving this lyra so far. I was concerned at first because (I got the double tab) tabs were spread apart more than I was used to. Causing it to be a "tippy" Lyra. If I grab the bar between the tabs, the bottom of the bar flings up. But my sister came over and instantly did some sweet tricks I was unaware of so I'm happy that it is unique in that way. I just wasn't ready for it! I like the girth of the bar.

Good lyra!
Works well for home practice. The diameter of the bar is larger than I'm used to, but I think that helps reduce the pressure on my bruises after practicing the same move over and over again. The thickness of the metal does make leg hangs and hand holds a little harder, but I like to think it helps condition me for a tighter grip when I get onto a thinner lyra in class. Overall, very satisfied!
