Academy 2018 NEW Da Vinci Clock 10"

Love this. Fun to put together. Remember to file off any tabs left attached to the parts after seperating them from thier forms so that it works smoothly when it is assembled.

The media could not be loaded. I was excited to get my clock today but when I opened it I found all the instructions in a foreign language with no instructions in English . I used the picture instructions and managed to assemble it . I like the clock but English instructions would have given 5 stars.

I built a nearly identical clock in the late 1970's. Comparison with the quality of this model, the 1970's model was much more robust. Parts are pretty flimsy and the English assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired. You need a magnifying glass just to see the illustrations or read the words. To make it run reliably, you need much more weight in the bucket than it can hold in coins. I would suggest lead sinkers from a sporting goods store. It is an acceptable toy.

The media could not be loaded. Plastic parts fit together precisely, much better than I expected. Pictorial instructions were very good, English language version included. Very ingenious mechanism. Since you put every piece together yourself you can understand how it operates.Note:Clock only runs for a few minutes. To increase this time, you can use the wall mount option so a longer string for the weight can be utilized.Plumb bob weight on the right side of clock has no purpose.

The picture looks like something nice to buy for a gift, but it’s really a piece of junk, plastic pieces, sent instructions in foreign language, finally got it put together I will not keep any kind of time, looks like a joke, brought two,one was a Christmas gift. I’m embarrassed that somebody thought I was giving him a joke, purchase another one because I thought they looked pretty neat, but didn’t read everything properly I guess because they were really it just nothing but pieces of plastic,

Looks cool but non functional, easy to assemble but it doesn't work and the quality isn't so great because some pieces are just too weak and are VERY easily broken. I wouldn't purchase another item from here.

This model clock was a little tricky to assemble, particularly since the included English instructions were far too small to be legible, but you can just google a high-res pdf of those instructions. Although the parts are plastic and some are fairly small, the clock is surprisingly sturdy and functional (although the timekeeping is not accurate).

This clock/timer is neat. All plastic and used quarters for weight but easy to put together and great conversation piece. Works well and neat to watch.
