Does this part have 1/2" female threads to screw on a standard regulator?

There are no threads. It slips tightly over the original part just ahead of the regulator.

I have a Q1200, is this tube pretty easy to install, directions included?

Very easy to install. Simple directions. Can’t miss.

I see the air vent is on top of the tube whereas on the original the air vent faces down. Has anyone had a problem with rain going into it?

Iʻve ordered two of these (3 years apart) and the air vent was NOT on the top of the tube but faces down when installed (just as the original). What may be confusing you is the product picture is taken from below the assembly (indicated by the attaching screw tab which will be facing down).

Perfect fitment Weber Q100

The media could not be loaded. My Baby Q is now 19 years old and was due for a little refurbishment, so I installed this replacement gas tube. It was a perfect fit and took only about 5 minutes to swap out. It even came with its own Philips-head screw, though I opted to reuse the original Weber 11mm bolt instead.I also installed a new Piezo igniter at the same time, and the two components worked together seamlessly.
