OxiClean White Revive Laundry Whitener and Stain Remover Powder, 5 lb

My clothes have never been fresher and cleanerI love this stuff. It smells so fresh yet not in an unnatural way (and I am extremely sensitive to fragrance). I only need to use about a half scoop for a full load of laundry and everything feels so much cleaner than before. I have five boys plus husband who works construction and this oxi clean has changed everything. I have used other oxi clean before and this is the best one I have used so far.

Soaking potential stains in Oxyclean has always been a lifesaver, but the whitening version brightens dull looking white clothing. What it does isn't surprising, but that it actually does what it says is a very nice surprise!

I use this product more and more and bleach less and less. OxiClean always enhances the results of my laundry, and this white revive is perfect for any of my whites or brights with white accents!

The product has earned the 5 stars for getting my dingy white sheets and towels whiter again, even though I didn’t bother adding the powder to the hot water and letting it dissolve first before adding the white linens (sorry, I was either pressed for time or maybe too lazy to deal with the extra steps and time). I didn’t bother adding do and extra rinse or two, which is what I always do to get the extra detergent out of the clothes when washing in these high efficiency machines that don’t use much water. On the extra dingy or yellow stained sheets and pillowcases, it took an extra wash. Please not the smaller container has a much more secure and easier to use lid, whereas the larger container is terrible when it comes to the lid. I kept my smaller container and poured some of the product from new larger container into it, just because the lid stays on and is easier to put back on. My request to Oxyclean is to please put better lids in the larger containers.

For a pre-soak, you have to use a TON of it: 1 scoop per gallon of water. Does it work? Absolutely. Even old yellowed armpit stained white undershirts are 98% gone, it's seriously impressive). But you will have to wash normal after the soak, and I suggest a second wash without detergents to get everything out of your clothes.I didn't give it five stars because it was supposed to be scentless, but the scent is actually so strong as to be overpowering. If you're sensitive to fragrances, absolutely pass on it. I had the windows open with the vent fan going, and my house still reeked of chemical 'floral' fragrance.The good news is after washing and drying the scent was significantly reduced, but again, if you're sensitive to perfumes it will likely cause issues for you.
