The shoulder piece is very functional and I am very pleased with the purchase. The extra ice packs are very useful as well. I would actually forgo the bag, as it isn't overly great for storage during the games. I would advise using a better cooler for the packs.

Works great. My daughters play fast pitch (a pitcher and a catcher). They both throw a lot so getting them to follow a good ice routine is important. This product makes it very easy and convenient to ice whenever necessary.
