Superb Reference Book.
A superbly detailed, informative and well organised reference book - one of the best on guitars I have read/purchased. In the preface the author states that if readers like this book he promises to do a second volume. Well, I think a follow-up book from 1978 onwards would be most welcome so long as it follows the format of this existing title. My only gripe is with regard to a couple of spelling errors - most notably where Richie Havens is referred to as "Ritchie". I encountered this error twice on first reading - on the back cover and also on page 114. Who knows if this error is repeated elsewhere. As Richie was such a devotee of Guild acoustics and endorsed them as his preferred guitars it's quite embarrassing to get his name wrong. This aside, however, I can not recommend this book highly enough. If only the book on Gibson guitars which I bought recently had been as well thought out and presented as this one !

Very good read
This book is a very good read about the history of Guild guitar with excellent photos, where did they find them. Even if you don't play the guitar but like history then this is a must get book. Very good service from Used seller, SuperBookDeals. Book (paperback) looks new, recommended
