HOW TO READ A BOOK

Sometimes it makes me wonder, why the real education is left on the individuals to study and learn, while the things that we may never be required to use are taught in tons in schools.I have started to believe over the number of years is that each individual should take upon himself to hunt down the right books, buy it with his own money, and educate himself on the content, instead of being totally dependent on educational institutes."How to Read a Book" is one of the books that one can start with. When I started reading this book I realised that I have been reading my books using trial and error method as I tried to understand the contents of that book.This book is actually a classic guide to intelligent reading - as it claims.Whether you are reading a technical paper, a school or college textbook, or even a novel for entertainment, the 400 + pages book offers techniques designed for all kinds of reading materials. It also offers steps to decide whether you really want to buy a book or not.It's a book of principles and guidelines for anyone who depends on reading to educate himself on any matter related to life.Learn how to juice out the hardcore lessons, extract the true essence from printed matter. Treat this as a reference book that you will refer back to again and again as you decide to read choose a book to read.I am adding few pictures from the book to give you an idea.This book is a must in every house that has the habit of reading.

Widely elaborated, explained & analysed issues … surely impressive & impactful.A bit too elaborated at some areas. Perhaps could have been done in a more concise form. Never the less, a necessary … “must read”.

The media could not be loaded.

1.Book is good, but is has more than required emphasis in some topics. Which could have been covered only 4-5 pages, auther took more than 15 pages to explain simple things.2. Book was torn due to mishandling during shipment. Packing could be batter .

The book teaches you to the approach to various subjects on the basis of which textbooks and reference books are written.

Delivered nicely and condition of the product is good as well

I like the way this book gives guidance oriented conversation about reading 📚 book 📖. I came to know that there is skill in reading as well.

Un libro claro, directo, y que es de una utilidad de la que hubiera querido disponer cuando iniciaba mis estudios en la facultad, y que me hubiera ahorrado los años de aprendizaje que me tomo aprender esas pequeñas recomendaciones que condensa para ser un buen lector de libros informativos (no abarca la literatura pues sabe que la lectura por placer no necesita mucho entrenamiento).
