A great copy of the 100 year old book
I wouldn't rate the contents of the book. Its over 100 years old and yet has so much to learn and you can get the Book review from Goodreads.Page as well as printing quality is excellent at this price point though the binding is nearly imperfect so you need to be careful while reading.

It was worth buying
Every chapter has photos in it to give details and it is a brief history or say short history of the world so it has every then you can expect.

Quite an Average Read
The media could not be loaded. About the quality of printing: Good book, there are few grammatical and spelling errors in the printing. Overall quality of pages and printing is fine. No pages were missing.About the book: If you’re interested to know about the History of Europe more than any other region then this is a great book for that. Covers very little about India. Doesn’t even consider Hinduism as worth mentioning as a religion. Only talks about Christians, Islam and Buddhism.Overall a quick short summary of the vast historical events.

The content of the book is impressive. Three stars because it is marred by many printing errors.
I bought A Short History of The World by HG Wells published by Fingerprint Classics. The book was written almost a 100 years ago but is still relevant today. The author began right from the beginning of the universe with the most reliable science available during his day. Any error is highlighted by a superscript and an annotation is added at the end using reliable information in accordance with recent research. There are errors in dates too and are also highlighted and corrected at the end but it is unlikely that the reader will be troubled by these errors. The author took us right from the beginning of civilization and left at the end of World War 1 with the creation of the League of Nations and even predicted another world war. The book was written from a sociological, anthropological and scientific perspective. It provides a general overview of world history ,a framework necessary for the study of a particular period of history or the history of a particular country. The primary goal of the author is to "meet the needs of the busy general reader who wishes to refresh and repair his faded or fragmentary conceptions of the great adventure of mankind". There is a paucity of details and if the reader is interested to explore further, he can avail himself of the inextinguishable source of information from other books about that particular period of history he wishes to peruse. This edition is replete with black and white pictures but often they are irrelevant with the context of the chapter. In short, I thoroughly enjoyed the book inspite of the shortcomings of this edition by Fingerprint Classics. The author's writing skills is lucid and impeccable. There are also chapters about Ashoka the Great and The Buddha. My pet peeve with this cheap edition: In the course of my perusal, I had discovered at least 20 printing errors which is irksome. However that did not much serve as an impediment.I would advise others to go for another edition by a different publisher.
