An eye opening book
I run a startup with an engineering background. This is a real eye opener on how to see and read the finance data. I used to decently understand how the P&L works with minimal idea about a balance sheet. This book gave a good understanding on how the balance sheet can be viewed and leveraged for decision making.

A book of rare value
This book teaches accounts to non accounting people. Its one of the most well written books in general that I have read. The author has an uncanny ability to understand the reader’s next question.

Great for finance dummies. F
This is a great book if you want to know the basics of a balance sheet and understand how to make financially smart decisions in your business or at your job. It's a must for every entrepreneur or business heads.Concepts in 1st half were explained very well and I grasped them easily.I wish the 2nd half had more practical examples. The last few chapters were quite complex for new finance enthusiasts and it would have helped me understand them better if explained practically. I am sure if I read these chapters couple of times more I will grasp them as well but its always better to teach using practical examples so it becomes easy to remember.

Can't ask for more
Whether you're a business owner, a retail investor, a salaried individual, or simply someone seeking financial intelligence, this book is a must-read.Anil Lamba's writing stands out with its remarkable clarity and lucidity rooted in common sense. Boy! this gentleman knows how to teach. Having read numerous books on finance and financial statements, I've often been disappointed, but Anil's approach is unparalleled and a joy to read. I couldn't help but savor every page. At no point did I experience a sense of incompleteness or the urge to search for additional information while reading the book, despite coming from a non-finance background.I look forward to devour the remaining volumes of his works.

Great book to understand how to read and use financial statements for business
I studied finance in business school and really struggled. So much so that I never tried to work in finance. I could never figure out some of the fundamental concepts of a balance sheet or a cash flow statement. Now as business leaders I have to look at these as part of my job. Given my past experiences I was struggling. On the suggestion of a colleague, I picked up Anil Lamba’s book. This book has significantly ( that’s an understatement) improved my understanding of these financial fundamentals and principles. I can finally start to make sense of the balance sheet and cash flow statement. But more than that I think I am now financially literate. I can now understand the financial health of a company. All the concepts are lucidly explained in a step by step manner with sufficient examples. I wish I had read this book in college.I would highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand how to make sense of these financial reports and improve their understanding of business finance.

Awesome Book
Binding was not good, maybe because of delivery, but content in book is awesome.
