The price is a bit high, but it's a good investment if you live in an area with frequent power outages. I use this for my gaming PC that has a 500W power supply, along with a speaker system and a 29-inch monitor. It's able to kick in even when the PC is under heavy load and drawing a lot of power. Under load, it can power the PC for upto 15 minutes, and under normal conditions (browsing etc) it can go upto 45 minutes. The on-screen display displays a bunch of useful information like time remaining, current consumption, voltage etc. You can also mute the UPS so that it doesn't make annoying beeps when the power goes out.The only downside I found was that the fan is too loud. But you'll only hear it when it is charging or during a power outage.

Meet requirement and work as described. Only one problem, so much noisy if UPS is providing power from battery or charging battery.

But Is it too loud during that time.. Nope unless you live in a pindrop silence green zone.The only time it's a prob when you are abt to sleep and there is a power cut and the fan sound roars up!!Besides that you will not even notice, that there's a UPS at the corner:)

it is noisy (fan)when it is on battery, but i am using it inan apartment to keep my Work from home set up alive between power switch (half to full 1 minute). Good enough.Issue: I live in an apartment where there is power backup. When they switch between online to offline backup, there is a delay of 30 seconds. So I only need it to keep my pc, router running for that 30 seconds.However sometimes if the power goes off due to some repair issues in the apartment for more than 5 minutes and comes back on, the fan always stays on and very loud. This is a known issue with all APC backups which they havent fixed.solution:What you can try to do to see if you can get the fan to stop is "brain dead" the UPS. Other than trying that, there is no other way to stop the fan via any means.How to brain dead your UPS:You need to power down all attached equipment and unplug it from the UPS. You then need to power down the UPS and unplug it from the utility power. Also, make sure that all communication cables are removed. Now, you want to hold down on the "off (o)" button until you hear an audible click (if not, proceed after 10 seconds anyway). Now, the internal circuitry of the UPS is reset, and you should be able to plug the UPS in, turn it on, attach all your equipment and see if the fan still stays on all the time.I hope someone from APC or some competitor makes a similar product without this software bug, then that would sell more than this.Just copy this, fix the years old bug and you have a perfect product.update: 14september2023Even under 0 load, the fan always keeps running loudly, I performed a reset many times but no go. I need to contact service center. I hope I can just get rid of the fan since I only need the UPS for 30secodns-50 seconds when my apartment switches between backup to grid and grid to backup., The UPS is located just above the ground, with complete room on all 8 durections for air ventilation, no possibility of any dust blocking the vents too. It is very new.UPDATE: 25MARCH2024The fan sensor died again. The fan spins with extreme high speed all the time. Never stops. performed all the previously mentioned troubleshooting and ran self-test from their powerchute application but no go.

The product is excellent, but packaging was terrible. The UPS along with backup battery sees me through most of Hyderabad's protracted power cuts comfortably. It drives a laptop with serial 19" display and MFD with ease.

I was looking for a stable power supply for my 40 inch led tv, Nad CD player, My two channel amp and my Blueray. having sifted through other possibilities, I zeroed in on this 1.5 kv APC power supply unit. Thoroughly happy satisfied at the resulsts. Actually overjoyed. Later I realised I could have gone for the 1 kv variant. would have been a bit easy on the pocket, but I am not complaining. Its handling the bad power fluctuations smoothly. The LCD sreen looks good.One downside..... the FAN is slightly loud, but if the volume is nice, there is no real problem. I n any case I am not complaining. Thrilled with it.

if you have a beast of a power hungry gaming PC, this is what you need, using this since 8 months, Its just incredible, at times of power cut, it gives backup of around 56 minutes while music or movies, and 30 to 20 minutes while gaming.

Very good ups. I'm using a pc with 650watt smps and a printer a scanner , a 24 inch monitor. Every thing works perfectly.
