Excellent brushes from Camlin at good price range
Excellent brushes from Camlin at good price range. The bristles are strong and stiff enough for pushing oil paint and acrylic. They look very durable too. I just got them today. The handle is long and strong. The material to make the brush is not specified in the package, all though, Amazon page says it is hog hair. I prefer synthetic bristles, anyway.I would love if Camlin comes up with this type of brushes more and more for artists in India. Camlin could come up with Filberts and Fan brushes.Artists would love to have them.Thank you very much Camlin, Amazon and the seller.

Good price, but not very long-lasting
It's good for beginners. Some bristles come off initially, but only during first usage. Price is good, but the brushes aren't very sturdy. So, one might have to replace them soon enough- in about 2 months if one paints on a daily basis with oil paints, and uses just one size from the lot more often. So, if you've used these brushes before, and know what size brush you tend to use more frequently, then buy that size separately. (These are long handle brushes)

Poor quality
Not very good quality. Haven't used it yet. But some powder is coming off from the bristles of the brush and also it is a bit hard

Buy if absolutely desperate.
Buy these brushes only if you simply cannot afford anything else. Even then I suggest you wait for a while and save up and buy another brand. The brushes (both the brush hair and ferrule) came coated in a glue like substance. So I suggest soaking the brushes for a while and then rinsing them thoroughly before the first use. On soaking the brushes they become sticky and gross as the glue starts dissolving in the water. While I gave the brushes their first wash some of the brush hair fell out.The smaller brushes are still usable but the big ones are completely useless, (the bigger the brush the more glue it has).I'm attaching a picture of the brushes so you can see the size, and another picture so you can see the amount of glue that came out of a single piece of brush.Camlin needs to step up its game if it wants to stay in the market.

Having issue with the bristles.
Quality is not that great as the bristles start breaking and come on paper during painting. Not expected this from Camlin.

Great effort by Camlin.
This series 56 is long handled synthetic bristled brush. Bristles are little frizzy with some deformed hairs, but are glued together to maintain a sharp sheer, I like the sheer. Spring back is not good, they are very rigid bristles. Ferrul and clamping is good and sturdy, they are well made to hold brushes for long run. Handle is very long, and total length of brushes are about 11- 12 inches. Handle is well lacquered with transparent coating which gives it smooth silky texture. Colour holding and delivery capacity is average fine. It's of total value for money type product. Great effort by Camlin. But I think that product can be better if bristles are improved.
