I was excited to see that this fit perfect for my blender, however the gasket is too thick for the actual lid. When I twist the blade extractor onto the cup, it screws on fine but it does not screw on all the way.The lid must screw completely on the cup otherwise the unit will not sensor the lid is on properly and it will not allow the blending function to operate. (The unit will show on, but it will not let you use any of the functions and the buttons will not work.) When I did get the unit to work, it was only if I use both hands to push it down so the sensor picks up the cup is in the unit. But this is not recommended as this will probably cause damage to the unit.Unfortunately, this one is not working for my unit and will have to return.

Under normal use, it only lasted about 4-5 months before it burned up and broke. And it never did seal correctly to the cup from the beginning. It would leak while blending. I would not recommend.

I haven't used it a lot, yet, but have had not problems with it. Time will tell, I suppose. The reason I docked a star, however, is that the free extra gasket is bogus. It's the wrong gasket. It's useless. So why send it? Why bother? Do they have a bunch of useless gaskets sitting around, so they dump them on unsuspecting customers? I don't know. Weird.

It doesn't work with the Nutro Ninja. I tried using it while I was making a protein shake. It leaked everywhere. Was very disappointed!

I bought this as an extra blade for my new BL482. It does not sit in the blender correctly and requires I hold/press it down to activate the blender. It might work for other blenders but not for mine.

I use it 3-4 times a week, original lasted over 2yr, this one less than 3 months before started leaking

It fit, and it worked, but in about 4 weeks of use starting leaking oil from within.

Would not engage the motor switch to allow blender operation .
