Stoeger Hardwood Monte Carlo-Style Stock with Fiber- Optic Sights

This is a youth gun with a 12 1/2 inch length of pull. It would fit me better if I added an inch to the butt stock, but nevertheless I love shooting it! It cocks easily, shoots quietly, and has smooth cycle with no noticeable twang. It is accurate and appears to be well made for its price.The fiber optic sights are the weak spot of the gun. Ok for plinking, but useless for targets, or distance shooting. The front sight is too big, and coarse...It covers the target. I loosened screw on barrel shroud cocker, and then used a piece of wood, along with hammer, to tap it off. Then I put a proper target style globe sight on it. This made a huge difference. Next, I may get a peep for the rear sight.I like the smaller youth airguns as the are lighter, easier to handle, and have less power for back yard shooting without disturbing neighbors.With a bit of sanding, and finishing the stock could be really nice. Extend the butt stock with a spacer, and add nice thicker buttpad to make it at least 13 1/2 inches, and upgrade the sights, and you'd have a really nice gun.Specs:5lbs 7ounces.36 inches long.15 lbs cocking (maybe?)2 stage trigger: 1st stage long and easy, 2nd stiff 5-7 lbs estimate.

Save your money on this one folks because once again the corporate big wigs put profit ahead of quality and took a good product and turned it in to Chinese garbage. Better off with an American pellet gun. The action on this is very sticky in that after it is cocked when trying to close the barrel takes some force to get closed. Seems like the bearing to hold it shut is off center . I'll be sending this back and will now have to scramble to find a replacement.The genius who sent the production to China can have this one for his kid!

Superb starter airgun for those who want to teach fundamentals. The design is solid, with a well-formed youth sized stock and excellent cocking mechanism. The adjustable fiber optic sights pop and make aiming easy, and accuracy is impressive. This is an outstanding value.

Just what I was looking for. Great for the grandson.
