perfect fit, nice & bright!
So after a shipping snafu with the US Mail, this finally arrived later than expected. This was in NO WAY a fault of the company. It simply got lost in the mail!So This LED conversion bulb fit into my mini 2AA maglight with ease.Brightness is definetely superior to the original halogen lamp. Color is bright, looks like 5000k brightness. The battery has lasted longer than the halogen for sure. So far so good.I have a craftsman maglight, it's head is a bit longer than a maglight, still 2 AA.The halogen lamp is the same.I put this conversion bulb in, it fits and works. Only problem is the head doesn't really like it, so I can twist the head down to much, which is ok, it has a side button for power on/off. But I got it to work very well.Yes, I've bought several and have converted all of my maglights to this little upgrade.the wattage is brighter than anything I could find at a Sears, Walmart or Home depot.Price wise, this unit is cheaper than the big box store versions and brighter wattage wise.I have 1 more maglight to convert, but eventually the halogen lamp will give out and it'll get the upgrade then.

Wasn’t the right bulb for my light.
The bulb was accurately described and the service from Great Britain was fast. Unfortunately, it was the wrong bulb for my MagLite. The description of which bulb works in each flashlight needs to be more detailed.

No instructions
There are no instructions on how to install this item in the maglite. The LED is mounted on a heat sink that is thicker than a dime. I was uncertain if I had to remove the platform on which the old incandescent bulb was mounted. I went to the retailer's website, but could find no instructions or videos. There was a live chat button, which I clicked; however, I was calling on a Friday afternoon and the retailer is in the UK. No one was available for chat. I decided to take a chance and remove the old bulb and plug in the LED. I carefully screwed the head of the maglite back on, worried that something would break due to the increased thickness of the heat sink. Nothing broke and the light came on; however, due to the thickness of the heat sink, I had to screw the head down very tightly to turn the light off. Because of this, I am going to order an end cap with a built-in switch. The LED is much brighter than the original bulb, but I feel that it should have come with instructions, and the ad copy should mention the possible need for a new end cap. Some reviewers mention that their LED came with a new lens. Mine did not. If your old lens is badly scratched, you will need to order the lens separately. I am displeased with this item and would not order it again.

Pretty slick
They fit, they worked and were brighter than original incandescent. Other than the long overseas shipment time thing went great
