Much cheaper than the name brands. The plastic cartridge only fits certain Dymo labelers & had to shave a little tiny bit of the plastic off the inside of the labeler with a Dremel tool so those tapes will fit. Now they work perfect at a much cheaper price.

I’m fortunate enough to still have original 1/4” dymo label tape for my model 1040 label maker.Photos:Green = 1960’s DYMO tape.Yellow = wide 1/4” 6mm replacement amazon tapeI compared this product and the original tape and it’s a decent replacement IMO.The tape is the tiniest bit slimmer, but did not effect my machine, or punch alignment.The plastic housing also did not fit in my label maker, so I threaded and left it hanging.Reading through the reviews, some issues mentioned were readability, and tape adherence. However the same could be said for the old tape too. They pop off in extreme heat or cold, and they can be hard to read.They do look *cool* in applications which is why I use them. Not because they are great labels.Cons:The white color seems uselessThey are made in ChinaThe colors are 20% subdued from the photo on Amazon.Gold is more of a mustard hue.Happy to have my matching working again.

Love the variety of colors but the strip is a lot smaller than I expected. The letters just about fit!

Love this it’s a retro item, and I found an old label maker for my daughter she just adores her. She’s labeling everything. I’ve labeled all the electrical panel. All the toilets and the toebox. Unfortunately I had order the wrong item and had to return it. Buying it and returning it was very easy, the item seem to be good, but it was not the size I needed. Since then, I have purchase the correct item and I am please with it.

Per the description, these tapes are supposed to work with my dynmo label maker. This tape jams and I am unable to advance the tape to make a word. I tried helping it along and it just didn’t work! I tried with a few of the color rolls and same thing happened. My dynmo label maker work perfectly with dynmo embossing tape. I’m super annoyed, not even worth returning. So buyer beware. I guess if you want these, make sure you have the same brand of the label maker! I just tried to use my label maker and now it doesn’t work properly! This tape literally ruined my label maker!! This tape is crap!!!!

Not as wide as I thought but it is okay.
