diveX Divemaster Underwater Strobe Light

Good item no to much distance.

This is a replacement for one that flooded after several years. Not the brightest strobe but will be visible from shore for night dives. I do like the single C battery required to operate. It makes maintenance much easier. Easy turn on that does not involve the seal for the strobe.

they should not make these anymore . its a danger to the scuba diving population .you depend on some things working .the money means nothing. but cheap stuff that puts you at danger IT is really my own fault . I should have known better TOM

Light leaked on very first dive

This is the second of these which I have had. The first lasted for at least 6 winters of being attached to the back of a fanny pack to warn cars of my location as I walked to a gym and back in the winter darkness every day from October through March. It took its share of knocks against lockers and floors and through a lot of rain and snow, always worked great up until now. Based on my past use I'd rate it as being pretty rugged. Plus with a "C" cell for power it lasted a long time between battery changes, yet wasn't heavy, especially compared to the original strobe I had which used a "D" size battery. Summary: Light, good battery life and tough.

This light is very useful and easy to carry, wash and store. I fully recomend it to everyone who wants to dive safely

Seems like it will be useful as a beacon on a night dive, either on land or the anchor chain.
