FoxFury 480-009S Discover Tasker S LED Helmet Light/Headlamp with Silicone and Elastic Strap, 120 Lumens

I've had this for a few months now and use is mounted to my hardhat when I investigate fire scenes. This light is bright enough for me to work comfortably in the area in front of me and to make my way around inside and outside in the dark. This is not like turning on the sun but it is much brighter than all the cheap headlamps sold in the big box stores.It is well constructed and very durable. The aluminum housing is much better than the plastic used in the cheaper lights.I like the single red flashing LED on the battery pack making me more visible to my partner and others while we work. I use rechargeable batteries and they are easy to pop out and pop in but you won't have to do it terribly often - using it on low I would say I can get maybe 12-14 hours of work time.My only complaint / recommendation for improvement would be to make the on / off switch a bit larger to make it easier to positively locate with gloved hands. That's it. This is a solid light that is well worth the money. I only wish I bought it sooner!

The on/off button is difficult to activate with structure gloves on. No ability to tilt means if the front of your helmet is angled at all up the light projects straight out instead of down. Overall construction is topnotch.

I ordered this for my bunker gear helmet for more of a floodlight on my helmet. I have a 4Sevens quark AA2 Turbo for my beam light. (Also a fantastic light.) This headlamp is very pricey in my book, but worth it if you respond to wrecks or work during the night. I have taken it on two backpacking adventures also. Zero failures/problems. My only complaint is adjusting the rubber straps back and forth from my head back to my helmet can be a pain in the butt. Which isn't really a bad thing either since I know the straps will hold up to abuse. All in all, if you are a first responder, firefighter or a hiker, hunter, camper or whatever else...I highly reccomend this product. It is even heat resistant to a reasonable level. Even though you are paying $1 per every lumen, buy the light and thank me later.

I've had this light for a while now and so far I have no complaints. Its been in the rain with no issues and its been in fires with no issues. Fits perfectly on my helmet. If I had anything to improve on it, I would ask that the on/off button would be bigger, its sometimes hard to find with my fire gloves on.

I was after a head lamp....and being that it was fiire fighter approved I thought it would be brighter than what it is...It was really hard for me to gauge the lumens. But I still like the lol....Also, it sucks batteries like a Cookie Monster. It is very rigid by way of design. I kept it but I also ordered me a $400 Petzl that's is amazing. Recharge battery. One of the best if not the best. I'm being lazy but if you must know which one it is....it's the one with 600 or 700 lumens. (Every morning you wake up is a great day!)

OUTSTANDING light in a small package. You can wear this for USAR operations or take off your helmet and use when hiking in the back country. Exceptional light.
