Definitely worth reading this book.
This book was a surprise. It's written for people who want to do low carb in the UK. I call it a surprise because it was easy to follow and understand. And it explains some of the US terminology. I felt that this book has made my journey easier and I have learnt that progress is better than perfection. I used it to start my low carb journey and I still use the book as it is invaluable to me.I have bought copies of this book for others and I recommend it to everyone! I definitely recommend this book for anyone who is either starting or wanting to start low carb. It's also good for those who have been doing it for a while and feels as if they are 'falling off the wagon'. It is written by the UK's foremost low carb expert.

Great introduction to going Low-Carb/High Fat in the UK!
I've been on Low-Carb way of eating since March 2018 and have now read Nikola's book from cover to cover and have to say it gives a very concise overview of the 'Low-Carb, High-Fat' diet as well as an easy to follow (and well explained) step-by-step guide to switching your body to this new Way of Eating - basically move away from carbohydrates and glucose as your body's fuel source and onto ketones, which your body produces from saturated fats. The book provides plenty of science and references to recent studies to back things up, as well as top tips on the best foods to eat. Highly recommended!

Clear and useful
An informative book, this is one of the few that were written in the UK and use British weights and measures and cookery terms. There are some good recipes, too.

Fabulous book. Life changing.
Thank you for this book! It has changed my way of thinking! I went to IKEA today and ordered chicken and salad instead of meatballs and chips! Because I finally realised it’s my choice. Optimal v Non optimal. This is just an example. It just helps to change your mind about the way we eat and the rules which have kept us addicted to carbs (mind is always, ALWAYS over matter) and it works! I had a lot of connection to Nikola in the first part of this book. I could’ve written it myself (not as good of course) but she is me. Very good book, should have more publicity.

Simple, easy to incorporate information
I know the science behind Low Carb, and that it will work with consistency and time. It's not a quick fix, and it is a way of life. The OSN scale contained in this book is easy to implement, as is the suggestions for meals. Do not think you have to spend a small fortune on food, eat fresh unprocessed meats and vegetables, ditch the processed rubbish! There is a lot of scientific info in the book, read it or don't, I personally wanted to understand it and read it all, even when it was a bit mind-blowing! Processed carbs are the curse of the 21st century!!

Wish I hadn't bothered
The title is good but found the content very waffly with too much rambling. Encouraged to sign up for 'gifts - sent an email asking a question with no response. It's headed for the bin or charity shop. Waste of money.

Great book, written well with enough detail to understand the process and links to find out more
I found this book very helpful to begin my low carb journey. This book makes sense. It does not dictate anything but gives you the information to make your choices. It’s written like a chat with a friend which makes it a nice read.

Very disappointed
I thought when I read the title that this book would help me adapt the Low Card style diet to my English palette. Difficult to read through to the last page, no real advice about how to adapt this diet a U.K. way of eating, although lots of examples about how the author thinks things should be done and only done her way, in fact the book is more about her than anything else. Lots of other really good books are available about the Low Carb diet, unfortunately this is not one of them.
