Easy english, easy to understand and to put in practic
This book take a complete coverage on the EMC subjetc. All topics are well covered as test, regulations, design and troubleshooting. Even if you are not an EMC test enginer I highly recommend to learn something about this task, because some of the non compliance issues, really are setup and test not well done. The EMC test is not as easy to start a program in the PC and create reports, by the contrary there is a lot of science to know what we really are doing, and few EMC test engineers are prepared to do this. The book is 100 per 100 profitable, it has the honor to be next to my prefered ones.Just find a problem, I am 55 years old, the characters are too small and I can hardly read. A few pages more and very little savings less, would have solved the issue.

Technical part very good, regulatory part Eurocentric.
Well written with a good balance between technical depth and fundamentals. Quite a bit of useful practical information on grounding and cabling. The only warning: the parts on regulatory requirements and measurement standards are written from a Europe/UK point of view, if you are in the US you'll need another book to cover FCC Part 15 and US standards for measurements.

Practical approach
The book describes the problems without using too much equations. Very practical for busy designers and those who want to get quick understanding of EMC challenges.

wide range of information
The first half of the book is about all of the government EMC regulations. The second half starts with the basics of how interference happens, then shows ways to eliminate it. Following this are several case studies.

An example of the examiner's dilemma
This book reminds me of the student paper that doesn't clearly answer the relevant questions -instead the student just writes down everything that they know on the subject hoping for the benevolence of the examiner. Verbose, repetitive, there are strong points in the book but they are submerged by a welter of more superficial material adequately treated elsewhere.

A excellent book for the designers of electronic products
In the European Union, all electronic products must meet certain EU Directives for safety, including Electro-magnetic Compatibility. This books describes the various EMC Directives, technical standards and the methods of that may be used to demonstrate compliance. Recommended

Good reference book for practical EMC design and testing.
Bargain! Had not been read, just sat on shelf a while so slightly faded, but otherwise like new. Well worth price, and trader packed book well too. Be very useful to anyone with a proffesional interest in EMC testing or design.
