Very nice. Works great. Simple and easy to use and understand manual. I would definitely recommend. I definitely would perches this product again when the life span of this one runs out. Mabe even soon for back up. Brightness is perfect.

This is a great DVD player for the kids and for adults that want a quality machine that is easy to operate. It's a good size and is perfect for what I wanted it for.

I purchased this portable DVD/CD player for my 91 year old aunt; and she enjoys using this item. Prior to giving the player to my aunt, I tested the functionality of the device beforehand. The device is easy to use, and the quality is good. It's a lightweight device, however it is not lightweight to the extent that you would seriously question the quality of the player. The loading time when playing a DVD and CD was good. The picture quality was decent and clear given the price point for this player. All in all, the picture quality was not the most spectacular, however, it was not the worst that I've seen. A plus for the device is the screen swivel feature. The sound quality/sound output was okay--not loud enough (and a smidgeon tinny) for my personal taste, but definitely loud enough for my 91 year aunt who has no serious hearing issues. It has an AV input/output, a headphone jack and a port and a slot respectively for an USB cord and SD card. The player has a remote control and the remote control is very easy to use. The power cord for the device is not tremendously long, and you'll likely require an extension cord if you are not in close proximity to an power outlet. Sorry, that I can't address battery life, because I did not have the opportunity to test it. But i can say the device was used without the power cord with no problem after I charged the device for a short period of time. I purchased the device in purple and it is a nice color if you like devices with a nice pop of color.In the heydey of DVD/CD players when they were a must-have for consumers, this device would have been a good choice for those folks looking for a budget player. Definitely not top of the line, but a good value.In sum, I would personally recommend this player because it is a good value for the price. HOWEVER, this device might not be a good choice for individuals who prefer exceptional picture and sound quality.

Great product at a great price. Works really well

We are enjoying watching our DVDs on this, especially the Canadian DVDs on this Regent Free player.

I have ordered several of these, as I use it a lot. The items perform well and usually last for 2 years + with daily use. The last one I got started malfunctioning after a couple of months. I contacted the company, they recommended some tests, which I performed. When the unit was found to be still malfunctioning, the company sent me a new player, which is working perfectly. They were very polite and communicated promptly.

The dvd player is perfect for the car and volume gets louder than the prior one we had. The screen is bigger and very clear. The resume function is helpful too. We're happy with the purchase.

Overall is a good product, but I do have some issues with it. The volume is ok but it could be a bit more clear. I use it with an Aux cable and listen to the movie in my car!I like that the cables go right at the edge of the product and not hidden. I had another unit from different people and cables break easily because of that. With this system is easy to connect.First unit I received was damaged. All movies stopped and auto played without any reason. I do have to say that customer service made the exchange very fast and it was easy. I didn’t liked the fact that they don’t use QR code for returns, but I guess is ok. I had to print the label.Lastly the brightness is awful, so even movies with bright colors will look dark!At least is working for what I need it. To keep my 2 year old toddler busy while we are in the car, specially while picking up our oldest kids at school. It keeps her happy in the carline and the trip.I got it in a good price, but if it broke later I won’t buy the same unit.
