Amazing
I use these for meads running them through a coarse filter first. The difference is amazing. See for yourself though. The first picture shows a blueberry mead that's already been through a coarse filter, the second is the same mead after its finished passing through the fine filter. It did take nearly an hour to filter but it was worth it. As the filter pad got more clogged filtration slowed considerably and most of the time taken was on the final quarter of the 12 litre batch but it did only take one pad.

To inset them in t he filter case correctly
They are a standard product and have been using them for years. However, the price seems to have increased considerably in the last few months and i wonder why?

Original & best wine filter for the home wine brewer
The original & best. As ever polishes wine to gin like clarity when used with a Harris gravity filter kit as instructed. Note this product is not designed to clear a cloudy soup. Be patient! Does not noticeably affect wine taste (in my opinion) although others say it takes some of the body out of the wine.
