I've gone around and around with the chat box on the Samsung site and it says this is the filter for RF28T5021SR/AA, although like you the AMZN model check says it may not... FWIW

Q: Does this remove pfas?

I see the dealer says yes, but do you have more information? There are hundreds if not thousands of types of PFAS. And none have enforceable standards for drinking water in the US -- so why would it filter this class of substances? Voluntarily? To the dealer, please share the information you have regarding PFAS filtration.
