Q: I have a party coming very soon. will this hold up decorations on wood posts? Can it be sued to hold table cloths on park wooden tables?

the tape only sticks to itself, so I would say no unless you wrap the tape around the wood posts. IT feels like a vinyl cling. I use it to wrap around my thread spools to hold the tails in place.

I would think it would definitely hold decorations attached to a wood post. However, I am not positive if this product is meant to withstand outside elements. This I think you may want to ask the manufacturer. I am not positive if this product is water and heat/sunlight proof. This product, in my humble opinion, is meant to wrap completely around an item, overlapping onto itself to stick and hold. So with that being said, I doubt it would be the best product to hold items to the side of a building, nor would I use it to hold table cloths down.
