So I have not been able to wear my hair curly for years since I’ve damaged it with coloring and constantly straightening it. I’ve used super expensive salon curl enhancing products and my hair still frizzes and won’t curl. Such a waste. However, I came upon this product and let me say “OMG” my hair actually Curled and was not frizzy. My husband complimented me on my hair and told me it reminded him of when I used to wear my hair curly when we started to date. Not only did this product perform a miracle by bringing my hair back to life looking healthy and bouncy but it also smelled ridiculously AMAZING! It smells like something you want to eat, “yummy”. I have not stopped wearing my hair curly ever since!!!

I really enjoyed the scent and my hair was really soft after I used it (practically no crunch at all), but it didn't give my curls the hold that I get from my usual gel. If your hair is type 2C/3A like my own I'd stick with a gel instead of a custard.

I had a little mishap with my original contents being stolen in the mail, and I just received the envelope. However the customer service I received from Cheeky Curls was so outstanding that she re-shipped my original order, included and sample of the whip, and made sure to put it in a much harder to break into box! The curl custard works so well on my long curly hair. It leaves it soft and natural looking without any buildup or friz. The sample curl whip contains my curls in smaller ringlets and holds it all day. Oh and it smells like lemon frosting! 😍. Overall love them both and will be sticking with these hair products for a long time!

I have been using the curly girl method for about 5 months. The curly girls talk about a cast, which is when your hair hardens slightly with a gel and then you scrunch it out. This is the key to defined frizz free curls. This gel is the only gel I've used that gives me that cast. But my hair is still soft and bouncy. I love this stuff. I highly recommend it. it.

Helped with curls but made my hair “crispy”. Once my hair is completely dry I can break it up so it’s not a complete waste.

I found this to be sticky, and it left my hair frizzy and unruly. I’ve used a lot of curly girl products and sadly this one is low on the list of effectiveness.

I bought this product to try & get some manageable curls instead of undefined frizz & it works! My hair is very reactive to humidity, and it helps that on normal to lightly raining days, but when the humidity is very high it still puffs out a great deal, but you can still see some curls so it is still MUCH better than without it!! I like the smell of lemons it has, very pleasant. And I was very happy with the company- I ordered it originally, but the package was not well taped to reinforce the paper shipping envelope , so it arrived without the product and with a US post office apology note. I contacted the seller & they sent a replacement with a very nice handwritten note to me. I was really wanting to try this curl cream and they made it happen. I already ordered more. I recommend this product & company.

I wanted a cleaner curling cream, this does not hold as well as my other one.
