Rainbow Magic Boxed Set, Books #1-7: (Plus sparkly charm)

Some don't like the stories or the illustrations. But I have to say, my daughter loves it all. She is into the short chapter books and loves these. She is in kindergarten and tends to be afraid of EVERYTHING (can't even watch Disney movies, something is either too scary or some relationship is too sad). But these books are great. The goblins are just goofy enough that she doesn't mind their "badness". She loves all the fairies and even when she "pretend plays" she is usually one of the characters fighting off the goblins or Jack Frost. We have all three series (Rainbow fairies, Jewel fairies and Weather Fairies). She wishes there were more.

These are the first of the Fairy books, and personally I think hands down the best, with a good ending. It's nice to be able to read them in rainbow order, and have the whole story. The box is handy, the books are of reasonable paperback quality. When my daughter was 4 she LOVED these books, and continues to enjoy them now that she is 5. While some of the later fairy books are a bit tedious, I think these are quite nice.

I got this set for my 7 year old niece for Christmas. She was sooooo excited when she opened them. She immediately opened the set and looked through the books. Even after opening tons of toys and clothes, she kept going back to her books and flipping through them. I have not read the books (her mother suggested that I get them for her) so I can not review the content, but the look on her face was priceless! As a teacher, I know the importance of kids reading books that they are interested in and I can already tell that she will love these books!

I have an 8 year old daughter who loves these books! She couldn't put them down... and now she wants to read the Weather Fairies... which I found out is another series of 7 books. Apparently they don't come in a box set like this. I wish they did! The box is really nice for keeping the books all together. My daughter also really loves the pink star necklace that it came with. This was one of her favorite Christmas gifts. It would be a great gift for any girl age 6-8!

My 2nd Grader asked for these from Santa for Christmas. She is a good reader, and this series is not very challenging, but at least it entices them to read. She reads these to herself, and I choose more challenging books when we read together.

I loved this book collection as a kid and I just had to relive the magic once more.

I was so happy to find a chapter book series with positive female characters, happy endings and picture clues (on every page) to help my child visualize the story as I read to her.It has taken my daughter away from the Disney culture and proved to her that girls can actually save the day without being a princess. As a mom, I am happy to find such a positive story with admirable main characters. As a reading teacher, I love the predictability of the stories and the drawings on each page that help with visualization. You can't go wrong with this series!!

Rainbow Magicの第１シリーズ7巻セット。価格的にはお勧めですが、カラーのぺーパーバックではありません。絵本では物足りなくなったお子さんにお勧め。シリーズが沢山出ているので、次々読めていいと思います。

英語育児３年の小学校２年生の娘向けに購入しました。　もともと日本語のバージョンは読んでいたので、洋書版をさがしているところにお得なボックスセットがあると知って購入しました。　可愛い本型のボックスに入っており、星型のネックレスまで付いて娘は大喜び！！英文もシンプルなわかりやすい文が多く、洋書絵本をそろそろ卒業するお子さんにはオススメです。このあとのバージョンでも同様のボックスセットがないか探しているほど満足の品でした。
