Q: This item was advertised to have American flag engraved on the handel. It does not . Why?

Hmm You got me on that one. I don't see where it says it has a flag engraved on it.I'm thinking lawsuit here.

Q: Is this a pocketable flashlight

2 cell can fit in an empty pocket, anything over 3 cell cannot fit without falling out. The barrel is about the same thickness as a paper towel tube and the light housing expands in size from there. It's more of a flashlight to beat someone over the head with or one that lasts 10 years for one emergency rather than a convenient pocket-sized light.

Q: is this made in the USA?

The Mag Light company is based in Ontario, California. However, you would probably have to contact them to find out which parts are actually manufactured in the USA, which parts are subbed out overseas and where they are assembled. The brand speaks for itself as thousands of law enforcement and military will agree!

Q: In what country was this flashlight made?

Not sure used to be USA. We only keep the large ones In car as a legal club for protection. Better flashlights on market that cost less try track lights bright tough & made in the USA
