Q: What are the product dimensions (height including lid, and diameter at base)? Trying to figure out if this will fit in my fridge...

7 7/8ths inches tall (with lid), and 4 5/8ths imches in diameter at the base. Measurements taken with tape measure and eyeball.

Q: Does this work with coffee grounds that are not coarse?

Yes but fine ground coffee will probably need to be run thru a filter into another glass container, as I do. Coarse ground works better and if you want a good brew
